New York Times Historic Beatles Newspaper Compilation ReviewThis is an actual newspaper in case you missed this point. I had missed that point somehow. It's like a large Sunday edition of a newspaper. It is cool because they leave the article embedded in the page in which it actually appeared. You get to have a "feel" for the times by seeing the advertisements and other articles on that day. In history isn't this type of thing referred to as first-hand accounts or something...authentic documents? Anyway. The articles are interesting in that you're reading something that was written 'as it was happening'. There is a great deal of stuff from the post-break-up years if that is something that matters to you. I didn't really care about those articles so much. The early 70's, yeah. But the decades after I didn't really care much. Criticism: The type is a little small, but I am 50 so my eyes are older.
