Miata 20 Years ReviewThis book is well done by a respected author in the automotive field, Larry Edsall. Much of the ground has been covered by previous books on the subject, but this one includes the third generation and the retractable hardtop model. Excellent coverage of special edition and limited edition models. Good information about the people who have been instrumental in the Miata's development and re-designs. Considerable, though not complete, information on the MX-5 in Europe and other markets, and on the Eunos Roadster in Japan.I spotted a few very minor errors, but they hardly detract from the book. (Example: The caption on one photo indicates that the silver Miata first appeared in the U.S. as a 1993 model when, in fact, it was introduced late in the 1990 model year and then replaced by the black model in 1992.)
The format is soft cover, wrapped in a hard cover jacket. Quality of paper and the color in photographs are good.
